It does not matter if customers are looking for a small intimate lunch party, a larger evening event or even a romantic and secluded wedding because Rothay Garden Hotel can provide for all of these options, especially as it is one of the most exclusive Grasmere Hotels. And all of the staff at the Luxury Grasmere Hotel would like to wish all of its customers, whether they are past, present or future, a very happy and prosperous new year. After a splendid Christmas and party filled New Year break that was fun and food filled with all of the festivities of the season customers may wish to visit for a quieter, more sedate stay. One where guests can really escape and unwind at their leisure where everything is taken care of and they can simply sit back and relax.
Rothay Garden is a wonderful Spa Hotel Grasmere and it is already considering the romance of Valentine’s Day and how customers can indulge in a romantic short break in order to celebrate a relationship, whether it is old or new, why not enjoy a weekend getaway and rediscover yourselves in the picturesque village of Grasmere. The weekend is made extra special by welcoming customers to their bedrooms with champagne, chocolates and fresh flowers. After a day of looking round Grasmere or walking in the Lakeland Fells customers can enjoy a truly intimate Valentine dinner by candle light. As a treat staff decided that a late check out would be appropriate for such a weekend and as such a leisurely brunch can be enjoyed before waving goodbye to the beautiful hotel.
The main attraction of the village has to be the opportunities for walkers, whether they are beginners or highly experienced. The major and well known walks are Helvellyn, Langdale Pikes, Fairfield Horseshoe and High Street, all of these walks are easily accessible from Grasmere without even needing to get into your car. The easier, more well known and shorter walks are Loughrigg Terrace, Easedale Tarn, Alcock Tarn, Helm Crag and the Coffin Trail.
If guests are unfamiliar with Grasmere it is a beautiful little village positioned in an excellent location of the Lake District where every valley and fell can be explored. The village is a picture of the classic ‘olde worlde’ that one would imagine of traditional English heritage. It has withstood the changing times of the modern world and still holds its charm. William Wordsworth also used to live in Grasmere for many years and his home is now open to the public and even offers visitors a fascinating museum. Sarah Nelson’s famous Grasmere Ginger bread is also sold in the village, along with a selection of other shops including outdoor pursuits and a variety of different galleries.
