Harlem Hip-Hop Tours (H3 Tours), a New York City-based tour company specializing in tours of Harlem and New York City’s hip-hop industry, has partnered with HOT 97 to offer an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes tour of HOT 97’s operations and facilities.

The HOT 97 Experience Tour is an interactive, guided tour of the studios and production facilities that make HOT 97 the world’s most recognizable hip-hop radio brand. The tour highlights HOT 97’s rise to its dominance, as well as the steps the radio station takes to maintain its position as the leader in hip-hop music around the world.

H3 Tours has worked with HOT 97 to make the HOT 97 Experience Tour both entertaining and educational. On the tour, guests participate in producing “voice drops” which are 30 to 45 second recordings in which guests state their name and give a “shout out” to their friends, school, family, etc. If a guest’s voice drop is deemed good enough, HOT 97 will play the voice drop on the air.

In addition to interactive activities such as voice drops, guests also learn about the business side of radio and the necessary college courses and fields of study one must pursue in order to have a successful career in the industry.

The HOT 97 Experience Tour lasts approximately one hour and is available Tuesdays through Fridays at a price of $20/person.
