(Free-Press-Release.com) July 4, 2010 --Thomas Rundquist (65 years old) was born and raised in BIg Rapids, MI and attended Ferris State University before transferring to Eastern Michigan University plus Wayne State University for Counseling Graduate Programs. He was also accepted to University of Michigan's Art School after graduate school in the Counseling programs. He has been a therapist since 1969 mainly in the substance abuse counseling area and now in semi-retirement.
His art and general backround is on www.novamediainc.com including training in the 2yr Senior Army ROTC (Commissioning May 10, 1969 ) in the Infantry as completing his Masters in Counseling.
The painting as with all of his art is based on events written in related nonfiction books that can be viewed in part for free on www.books.google.com as ebooks and purchased at www.amazon.com & www.barnesandnoble.com as well.
Thomas Rundquist has written several related books to the concept of communicating with spirits and combat with evil spirits that he has done since teens. They are ducumented in such books about the Czar's Ghost Asks U.S. Shaman in 1993 Communism or Yeltsin for Russia when he and his brother went to Russia.. Another one is Princess Diana"s Spirit and the Garden of Eden. Plus he is editor of Drugs, Sex in Religion an Uncensored Bibliography, 2nd Edition as to how various religious persons have used and Wizard-Shaman Training Manual Vol. 1 Boot Camp for Officers.
He is also Editor of Horse is Boss (Drug Culture Monopoly) based on his clients' input as to criminal husting in Detroit in the 1970's. Note: that it was in the Sunday Detroit News at that time and sold well for many years. It is now in a 2nd Edition that was featured in the Grand Rapids Press about 1987. Later it was sold thru Nimco, and National School Product in their health catalogs for high school teachers.
He also worked at Wayne County Jail as a Social Investigator for a few years and wrote Detroit Undercover about those days in Detroit. He also worked for the Health Dept's NARA/DAPS and then for SHAR Detroit House of Correction's Women's Division counseling addicts. He also was on the Michigan Democratic Committee on Crime and Drugs.
