Livonia, MI (August 3, 2010) – The Harvard Drug Group, L.L.C., a leading
national distributor of branded and generic pharmaceuticals, today announced that
the organization has been recognized as one of “Metropolitan Detroit’s 101 Best and
Brightest Companies to Work For” by the Michigan Business and Professional
Association (MBPA).
The MBPA honors companies that recognize their employees as their greatest asset.
These are companies that work with imagination and conviction to create
organizational value and business results through their policies and best practices in
human resource management. The MBPA received thousands of nominations from
companies vying to be named one of "Metropolitan Detroit's 101 Best and Brightest
Companies to Work For" which they narrowed down to 500, of which 101 winners
were selected.
The winning companies were selected based on their performance in the following
categories: Communication, Community Initiatives, Compensation and Benefits,
Diversity and Multiculturalism, Employee Education and Development, Employee
Engagement and Commitment, Recognition and Retention, Recruitment and
Selection, and Work- Life Balance.
