A vacation in Anaheim, California can be fun and educational for the whole family. Anaheim has so much to offer that you will run out of time before you run out of exciting things to do. There are other, smaller theme parks to visit in Anaheim. Take the little kids to Adventure City Theme Park. This one is not as expensive and has many fun things for the little ones and their adult helpers to do together. Enjoy the interactive Aquarium of The Pacific, take a short, twenty-minute drive to Newport Beach and go whale watching. Forty-six parks are available for hiking, jogging, fishing, picnicking and boating in Anaheim, and most are free to use.

Knott’s Berry Farm Resort, in Buena Park, has something to offer for everyone in the family. See Charlie Brown and Snoopy, a fabricated volcano, explore a ghost town, and actually pan for gold dust. If you find some golddustm take a vial of it home. Knott’s Berry Farm Resort is only six miles from Disneyland and offers a shuttle service to Disney and the Anaheim Convention Center. There are several Anaheim hotels in the vicinity. There are many more things to see and do in Anaheim, California. Most activities are in Orange County and are just a short drive away from where you will be staying. Take your vacation here and see for yourself. You may want to extend it, indefinitely.
