Its platform consists of over 5500 exchanges, 470 conferences, and nearly a lot many leadership opportunities each year globally. The platform, where the experience is self-driven, helps develop themselves and people around them to have a positive impact in society.

Since its inception in 1948, AIESEC has worked to fulfill its mission of developing young people to be individuals able to meet the challenges of the world. In India it was established in 1981 and now works with several prominent organizations such as Infosys, Tata Group, Indian School of Business, Coca Cola, HDFC and Citibank to name a few.

AIESEC Delhi IIT is utilising its valuable membership and network of eminent externals, to spread awareness and empower the youth. The project Global Entrepreneur’s Program is an effort to increase the entrepreneurial capabilities of young people in Delhi by providing knowledge, activating courage and enabling them to plan steps for further action. Global Village is an event which is open to the public of Delhi, focusing mainly on the student population. At this event AIESEC’s international trainees would have stalls on their respective countries, showcasing various special features and products of their countries. Restaurants, institutes and companies are also invited to promote cultures of different countries.
