The Maui Motor Speedway is placed within the old Puuene Army Airfield north of Kihei in Maui. The track is really a 1/5 mile dirt oval track and also track is distributed to a few other motorsport activities. Current race events are Drag races and motorcycles. The Speedway started renovations and upgrades in 2003 with plans for just a new grandstands, safety fencing, a beer garden, gradually a KeikiZone Klub for youths.

Motorcyclist will love the joys of road racing with the Hawaii Road Racing Association track on Oahu. The track is 1.3 miles around with seven turns and can be utilized for a 1 hour long or two short courses. Club events are a biker's dream - no police, no speed limits, no loose gravel and no cars! Biker's hit races to 120 mph and can drag a knee on turns considering they like. The Club offers several groupings according to connection with the biker. Group 1 provides instruction and track introduction for brand spanking new track riders. Riders turn to Group II with instructors approval after not less than 1 full day in Group I. Group III is one among the experienced and fastest of racers. Riders must wear full leather suit and boots. Full face helmets, leather boots for the ankles, leather jacket, pants and gloves have to be worn regularly. Cost for brand spanking new riders is $50.00 and $75.00 for returning riders. Spectator/crew admission is $8.00.



The Maui Go Karters Association offers fans with a positive, safe and entertaining sport. The International Kart Federation sanctioned 1/2 mile course in Maui features two long straightways and eight turns along with a paved infield. Every weekend racers test their skills in super-charged karts that range in speed from 50 mph to 120 mph. You'll find nothing which include the sensation of speed as you may go ahead and take corkscrew turn. The MGKA hosts events a month and encourage families to find involved and the newest thrill by themselves.
