Swimming with giant green sea turtles, snorkeling with Hawaiian spinner dolphins and tropical coral reefs, hiking in Volcano National Park, and kayaking along coastlines are just a few of the stimulating activities offered at Hawaiian Summer Camp.

The experienced staff and trained guides are all CPR and first aid certified, and dedicated to teaching campers about the importance of safety and the meaning of preserving the environment. Children will also learn how to interact with everyone around them and build lasting friendships. Staff members are well aware of the need to develop necessary social skills, and learn the importance of social dynamics while providing an interactive and hands on learning environment.

Hawaiian Summer Camp offers a variety of programs all incorporating hands on experience and appreciation of their surroundings. Some of the activities include camping in Punaluu, visiting South Point (the farthest southern point in the United States) visiting Volcano National Park, traveling to Kapohoo, the largest tide pools in Hawaii and much more. Campers will visit many places that tourists do not visit while in Hawaii. Hawaiian Summer Camp gives campers the opportunity to see many of Hawaii’s unknown attractions.

Waipio Valley, also known as the Land of royal kings and queens of ancient Hawaii is one of the many fascinating places that campers will visit during their stay at Hawaiian Summer Camp. Waipio Valley which is 5 miles deep and one mile wide has valley walls that are over 2000 feet high, and is home to over 20 magnificent water falls. This valley is also home to poi farmers and is used for many agricultural needs which campers will learn about during their exploration of the valley. Campers will spend two nights and three days in beachfront cabins and discover many of the valley’s natural wonders, and participate in hands on activities learning about Hawaiian culture. Among other activities during the day, campers will get the opportunity to take hikes around the valley, body surf in the clear blue ocean, and continue their memorable learning experience while being a part of the Hawaiian Summer Camp.
