FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 3, 2010 --
If the true measure of greatness lies in one’s ability to master a craft while overcoming obstacles in pursuit of success, Nino Blake may very well go down in music history as the greatest. Born Dwight Blake in Manchester Jamaica, Nino wasted no time laying the foundation for a career in music. His first foray into the entertainment business was as lead dancer of the immensely popular Jamaican dance troupe the Ice Boyz, while at the relatively young age of twelve. In addition to dancing Nino was founder and choreographer of the acclaimed dance company that heavily toured the West Indies and is credited with influencing many of today’s most popular Jamaican dance routines. No stranger to change or adversity when his parents fled Jamaica in search of a better life in America, it would be no other than the birthplace of Hip-Hop, the Bronx New York that would become Nino’s new home. Growing up in the heart and soul of Hip-Hop not only broadened Nino’s musical taste it also set the stage for his future. A future that would include moving to Miami, Florida and becoming a noted photographer of celebrities such as Lyfe Jennings, DJ Unk, and super producer Young Juvie, founding Bizlinkms.com, an online technology company that serves over six million users, and finally moving to music hotbed Atlanta, Georgia and creating “Reg-Hop”, a new genre of music that blends traditional Reggae and Dance-hall with Hip-Hop, Pop, Rock, and Country. The creation of Reg-Hop serves as Nino’s greatest achievement to date and is endorsed by a who’s who list of influential DJ’s and DJ coalitions from around the United States, such as iconic Michigan radio personality DJ Razorblade, who discovered Nino online, X-Squad DJ’s, Coast to Coast DJ’s, Hood Hard Hit-makers, DJ’s R Us, Team Michigan Record Pool, Northern Smoke Radio, Rough Riders, and the Hit Squad DJ’s. A true quadruple threat as an artist, producer, songwriter, and performer has Nino poised to take music to uncharted levels of greatness. With the release of his much anticipated mix-tape CD entitled “This is Reg-Hop” blowing up in America and abroad, Nino along with business partner and DJ Fitsum Redai are prepared to prove greatness is not for those who simply want to be great but rather for those rare individuals who accept the challenges and responsibility that go along with being great.
