Jeffrey Segal, founder and owner of Mystic Journey Bookstore. Once upon a time, Jeffrey graduated cum laude in political science, he was a campaign manager for a congressional primary, he was a law partner in a firm regarding environmental contamination claims ~ all before the bookstore existed. Then Mystic Journey, located in Venice, California, was opened for people to discover books, connect with psychics, and attend workshops. It has a unique collection of DVDs, music, books, crystals, candles, singing bowls, tarot cards, chimes and gifts. The store regularly sponsors workshops and events and is affiliated with a travel agency called Spirit Quest Tours. Mystic Journey Bookstore and Jeffrey have been written about in the Los Angeles Times and are known for its calm that customers feel being there. And speaking of calm, this all came about because Jeffrey was once a much stressed out lawyer who became quite ill and decided he was going to heal himself through the practitioners he chose.
