Healing Hands Chiropractic, A Family Wellness Center Announces New Pregnancy and Childbirth Education Workshops

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 16, 2009 -- Jenny Everett King, CYT and Childbirth Educator at Healing Hands Chiropractic- A Family Wellness Center in Londonderry, NH, announces a new series of workshops for pregnancy and childbirth. Healing Hands Chiropractic is a holistic family wellness center offering chiropractic care, massage therapy,acupuncture, reiki therapy, yoga, and childbirth education classes; focusing on prenatal care, family wellness, women's health, and pediatrics.

Healing Hands Chiropractic is pleased to accept registrations for the latest series of two-hour childbirth workshops. The new workshop schedule begins in January and offers information relevant to all stages of pregnancy. Early pregnancy (first and second trimester) workshop topics include: choosing a care provider, proper nutrition, and safe exercise. Late pregnancy (third trimester) workshop topics include: pain relief for labor and birth, understanding birth interventions, preventing cesarean, and postpartum health. Attendance in all four late pregnancy workshops is equivalent to one full childbirth class series.

Discounts are available to those who register for multiple workshops. Rates for all workshops are per family. Fathers / birth partners are encouraged to attend, but partner attendance is not required.

Healing Hands Chiropractic specializes in holistic care for pregnancy. Dr. Jessica L. Caruso, chiropractor, is certifed in the Webster Technique of chiropractic adjustment, a method used to enhance optimal pregnancy well-being. Shalon Da-Nai, LMT, is certifed in pregnancy massage. Childbirth educator and certifed yoga teacher Jenny Everett King specializes in prenatal and postpartum yoga classes.
