Heartwood Media Travels to Asia for Saint Anselm College

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 30, 2011 -- [MANCHESTER, NH] – Heartwood Media, an award-winning video, TV, and multi-media production company based in Manchester, NH, was hired by Saint Anselm College to create videos highlighting the experiences of students traveling abroad. Heartwood sent Creative Director Chris Conroy to travel with the students in Vietnam while Heartwood Associate Producer Kate Marquis followed students in China.

Chris Conroy accompanied eighteen students on the trip to Vietnam that included visits to historical sites related to the Vietnam war and the country's history outside of the war — its imperial past, the period of French colonialism, and Vietnamese history since reunification.

Kate Marquis followed Business and culture students while they visited the commercial and cultural centers Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. Saint Anselm College students were exposed to the fastest growing economy in the world. They visited an auto manufacturing facility in Shanghai that will be exporting to America in the next five years and participated in cultural exchanges with Chinese University students to gain first hand experience of life and business in Asia. While in Beijing, Heartwood followed the students through the Forbidden City, around the Summer Palace and up the Great Wall of China as they explored China’s unique history.
