TULIPAPIX LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE PALM-PIX!
Indie Photo Co. Starts Fundraising Drive For Small Photos of The Big Apple
Tulipapix is delighted to announce their innovative new line of photo souvenirs, PALM-PIX! Palm-Pix are miniature mounted photos, the size of playing cards, of popular New York City landmarks such as the Brooklyn Bridge and Central Park. To promote this unique business opportunity, they are holding a fundraiser on Indie Go-Go to help launch the initial run of Palm-Pix.
Tulipapix is an independent, Brooklyn-based photography company, selling both locally and internationally. The company was started as a showcase for the work of Caroline McKinnon, an up and coming photographer with an original eye for abstract imagery and unique perspectives. She has spent months photographing New York City from different vantage points, and created Palm-Pix as a new product geared towards both NYC locals and visitors looking for a different sort of memento.
In order to both keep its independent roots and its New York City connections, as well as to produce an affordable product for consumers, Tulipapix is forgoing funding Palm-Pix through traditional means. Instead, they are focusing on a grass roots approach to both raise capital as well as promote the line to local businesses, as Tulipapix is committed to keeping as much of the production and sales of Palm-Pix within the Big Apple and its large small business community. Thus, a campaign to raise $4000 to produce the initial line of Palm-Pix was stared on Indie Go-Go, a fundraising site that works through social media.
To raise awareness of the campaign, Tulipapix is approaching New York City businesses to partner with them in promoting the campaign. Tulipapix is asking for businesses to promote the campaign to their customers on social media networks, store blogs, and other marketing venues. In return, Tulipapix will offer special incentives to any business who participated.
Any store that is willing to promote the campaign on their website, eNewsletters, or blogs and other social media outreach, Tulipapix will design a unique set of Palm-Pix geared directly to your business or neighborhood. In addition, if Tulipapix reaches its goal of $4000 by the beginning of September, any business that helps promote the campaign will be entered into a drawing for three full length framed photographs, signed by Caroline McKinnon.
