Heritage Pointe of Teaneck to Host Medical Decision-Making Seminar for Health Professionals

Teaneck, New Jersey, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) March 15, 2011 -- Heritage Pointe of Teaneck, a full-service rental retirement community, will host "Medical Decision-Making in a Hospital or Long-Term Care Setting," an educational seminar for CALA, LNHA, social worker and case management professionals. Attendees are eligible for two continuing education units (CEUs). The program is being held on Tues., March 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Heritage Pointe, 600 Frank W. Burr Boulevard in Teaneck, N.J. Advance registration is required.

Robert J. Romano, Jr., Esq., of Andora & Romano, LLC, will address important issues related to Medicaid, estate planning, power of attorney, living wills, special needs trusts and guardianships for the elderly, disabled and mentally impaired as well as their caregivers. Romano is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder Law Section of the New Jersey Bar Association.

"Medical Decision-Making" is part of an on-going educational series developed by Heritage Pointe for area health care professionals.
