Hernan Lander to Show Spring 2010 Collection during New York Fashion Week

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 4, 2009 -- New York, NY (September 4th, 2009) – On September 15th and 16th, 2009, designer Hernan Lander will participate to iFashion Week {end}, produced by SEG Corporation and iConcept Media Group, presenting his Spring 2010 collection. Lander’s official runway show is scheduled for September 16th at Edison Ballroom starting at 6pm. Celebrities, fashion icons, designers, buyers, the press, models and many members of the fashion industry will attend the exclusive launch party and preview of Hernan Lander’s Spring 2010 collection, scheduled for September 15th at the Taj II at 7pm.

After collaborating with prominent New York designers, such as Rogelio Velasco, Proenza Schouler, Derek Lam and Ralph Lauren, Hernan Lander, who is expected to reach great heights, is striking on his own. His successes and recognitions have been many. It all started when he was awarded a full scholarship to the prestigious Parsons School of Design. Since then, he has won many awards, such as earning first place at the Nordstrom Competition in 2007 and winning the Gold Thimble during his senior year of studies.

The young Dominican/American designer, recognised for his unique style, a combination of his artistic vision and architectural elements, is looking forward to show his Spring 2010 collection in New York during iFashion Week {end}. His latest creations take sophistication to the next level, combining femininity and glamour with harder notes. Perfect for the strong woman who knows who she is and what she wants. “The inspiration behind the Spring 2010 collection comes from the contrast between the industrial and the natural feeling you can find in Africa”, says designer Hernan Lander from his new working studio in the heart of New York City Fashion District.
