This handheld CATV analyzer, model A0500034, operates over a frequency range of 5 MHz to 870 MHz with a frequency step of 10 kHz and accepts both QAM and QPSK modulation types. The CATV analyzer has a level measurement range of 30 dBmV to 120 dBmv with ±1.5 dB precision for analog channels and a measurement range of 40 dBmV to 110 dBmV with ±2.5 dB precision for digital channels. It has a built-in speaker for audio output ensuring easy operation. This handheld CATV analyzer displays test data and TV images simultaneously and has a memory of 256 kB for data storage. It communicates with a computer via an RS232 interface for data exchange. Using a 14.4 V/2.1 AH chargeable Lithium battery for power supply, the analyzer can operate continuously for more than 4 hours on a single charge. In addition, this high performance CATV analyzer has a rubber bumper and shock-resistant design to provide extra protection in fieldwork.
