Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com) has launched its portable transmission line/antenna analyzer which is designed to help technicians and field engineers easily identify and solve RF system problems such as coverage, interference and other path related signal problems. It is ideally suited for users of any experience level in commissioning and maintenance of today's wireless systems infrastructures including VHF, broadcast television, CATV, GPS, cellular, GSM/PCS, ISM, WLL applications, microwave relay, satellite communication and radar. It belongs to GAO’s Other Testers family of products.

This high-performance portable transmission line/antenna analyzer, model 36210, performs high speed and accurate SWR/RL (standing wave ratio/return loss), absolute power and Distance-To-Fault (DTF) measurements. It offers a built-in precise synthesized signal source, a high sensitive receiver and a high performance CPU. The analyzer has a large memory capacity of 200 measurement traces. It communicates with a computer through a USB port for measurement trace download or upload. In addition, a high capacity lithium battery allows the analyzer to operate continuously for over four hours on a single charge.
