(www.GAORFID.com) is offering this high-performance active RFID tag which has an expandable memory of 8,000 bytes for storing user and process information. This power-efficient active RFID tag is specially designed for collecting real-time data for identification, tracking, tracing and localization. It belongs to GAO’s RFID Semi-Passive Tags family of products.

This high-performance UHF active RFID tag, model137004, features low power consumption, long communication range and a high data transmission rate. It operates at a frequency of 868 MHz (EC) or 915 MHz (NA) ISM Band. This optimized RFID tag utilizes an anti-collision multi-tag handling algorithm which provides accurate and efficient communication even in the presence of a large number of tags. 2,000 tags can be identified simultaneously. Using progressive UHF radio frequency technology, the tag transmits data at distances of up to 100 feet from a handheld device or up to 300 feet from a fixed interrogator. This RFID tag has an identification rate of 100-tag/s, thus it provides reliable identification of fast-moving objects. Moreover, it has a long battery life span of over 6 years without replacement.
