High School Students Invited to Northern Star Rumble - Innovation Weekend

Fort Snelling, Minnesota

Over 450 Students will join PlugNPlay and Scoutmaster Bucky in an unprecedented first - together, we will research, design and build an all electric 1938 Ford truck rat rod that uses plug-in power, wind and solar for fuel.

Scouts and high school students (ages 11 to 21) will choose from 19 different class sessions throughout the weekend. Each class will concentrate on inventing, woodworking, painting, communications, computers, electricity, engineering, etc - and focus on their part of this all electric piece of engineering.

This isn't a kit that comes with instructions. This project involves building from the frame up and allows each and every student participant a chance to innovate and imagine a one of a kind automobile.

Students are eligible for college scholarships and prizes throughout the weekend.

This is a flexible weekend activity where participants can choose to spend the entire weekend or only parts of it with us. Together, with a huge helping hand from the Pepsi Refresh Program, Ridetech, E-Z Chassis Swaps and Pioneer Conversions, this will become THE record setting event of the year.
