Hindi Writing App available for iPhone and iPad as Free Download

HindiWriter can now be downloaded on all iOS based devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Since Apple does not provide a Hindi keyboard on these devices, this application fills in the need that is felt by many Hindi speaking users around the world.

HindiWriter allows writing Hindi on iPhone without having to memorize a new keyboard layout. HindiWriter works phonetically - so the user can type using English keyboard, the way a word sounds. Now includes a dictionary with more than 69000 words for auto completion, and a list of pre-built phrases for quick insertion.

HindiWriter allows sending the Hindi Text via e-Mail or SMS. It also provides a way to copy the Hindi text to clipboard so that the text can be pasted in any other iPhone App. The person on the receiving end does not require any font installation.

Prebuilt phrases are available in six categories: Greetings, Compliments, QUestions, Sayings, Filmy and Insults. Also allows you to save your own text to phrase list.

The HindiWriter App for iOS comes from Devendra Parakh, the maker of the popular HindiWriter for Windows software. HindiWriter for Windows has been available as free software from download.com for over five years now, and is being used by more than 70,000 people worldwide.
