Hip-Hop Heads Winnipeg

Winnipeg will be the place to be on November 12, 2011 when some of hip-hop's brightest stars are set to shine at the Just Muzik concert event presented by Merge Entertainment. This isn´t just another rap concert-- This will be the first true Hip-Hop concert in Winnipeg, MB. Among those slated to appear are none other than DTP’s Ludacris along with chart toppers lyricists Rick Ross, Jim Jones, and Roscoe Dash. The opening act will be Winnipeg’s own rappers “Winnipeg’s Most”. This groundbreaking concert will be held at the MTS Center (300 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 5S4, Canada). This is a must-see event. With stars like Ludacris, Rick Ross, Jim Jones, and Roscoe Dash, it is going to be a Hip-Hop history maker.

Ludacris has managed to win numerous awards including a Screen Actors Guild, Critic's Choice, MTV, and several Grammy Awards during his career in addition to his countless hit songs such as “My Chick Bad” and “Sex Room”. Rick Ross has risen to become one of the hottest rappers in the game. Since his first major single “Hustlin’” to his numerous collaborations, Ross has proven himself to be a dominator on the charts. Jim Jones exploded on the scene with Hip-Hop mega group Dip Set, and has been a force to be reckoned with as a solo artist. With a repertoire of hit albums including Prayer IV Reign, Jim Jones is bringing the Province’s Capitol his creative, edge-cutting songs and dynamic stage presence. Jones’ fifth solo album Capo landed on the Billboard Top 20 charts to add to a repertoire of hits like “Ballin‘” and “Perfect Day”. Roscoe Dash has also been burning up the charts with songs like “All The Way Turnt Up” and the mega summer hit “No Hands”. Recently, Roscoe Dash has been featured on the song “Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay” with Big Sean and Kanye West.
