Ho Ekklesia -- English translation, The Church is the glory of God on earth.

(Free-Press-Release.com) April 21, 2010 -- Jesus Christ has reconciled us, The Ekklesia unto the father by his death on the cross. The process of the new birth or shall we call it plainly the spiritual Reformation that begins in man is through the word of God who is Jesus Christ as it is written in John the first chapter. We are called out from living worldly by way of Jesus Christ. Jesus instructs us, us being the church of Christ, on how we should walk worthy of this calling. The result of this calling is to effect the spiritual power dwelling in us to exhibit itself in the form of Godly living which in turn glorifies God.

Let's talk about the glory of God on earth. This is not a hard concept to gain knowledge about, but it is a hard doctrine to walk in. The glory of God is not just in the giving of stuff and things to the needy. This is only one piece or rather one facet of godly characteristics, that is not only obvious but also easy to see. The other feature that exhibits godliness and shows that one is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ is the ability to stand for and speak the truth. The word teuth in the greek is alethia and it means to take the cover off. The revelation of that which had not previously been known is what the meaning amounts too, but not only that it is also the doing and saying of this self same word that got the Church/Ekklesia persecuted. This characteristic is also not so easily or readily associated with godliness. It is this characteristic that gives a more perfect picture of the image of Christ in the church whensoever this image is walked in. Ho Ekklesia is so rich a Greek phrase because of how much more meaning it carries beyond its generic definition. This phrase signifies not only the fact that were called out as a group belonging to God but also that were called out to glorify God. Herein is the beauty of our calling because Romans 8:30 says

" that we have been predestinated to be conformed to the image of his son " Jesus Christ is the son of God and is the express image of the father and therefore he is the glory of the father on earth as he is in heaven. We must take on this image and show forth his life and his sufferings for righteousness sake in our life and when we do this we are therefore showing forth the glory of God on earth. The church of Jesus Christ is called unto this glory which is to suffer for the truth. Ho Ekklesia expressly indicates our destination unto this glorious favor bestowed upon us by the Father of Glory.
