Holiday Dog Safety Tips For Your Distinguished Doggie!
Celebrate the season and don't let an accident spoil your holidays . Unsupervised dogs can get in trouble and not even realize they are doing anything wrong.

Here are some ways to keep your dog safe this holiday:
1. Some holiday plants can be poisonous if your dog ingests them. Keep Christmas Lilies, Mistletoe and Holly out of reach.
2. Keep electrical cords covered or out of your dogs reach. Make sure your dog can not get a hold of Christmas tree decorations, they could be a choking hazard.
3. Put candles in a high place or use electrical versions. A wagging tail or curious nose could start a fire.
4. Some foods can be toxic to dogs including chocolate, grapes, raisins, alcohol, onions, tea bags, coffee grinds and sugar free gum. Keep your garbage out of reach, behind a closed door or cover cans tightly.
5. Let your holiday guests know what foods your dog can and can not have or if your dog can go outside. Encourage visitor to give your dog extra attention or have healthy dog treats on hand for them to share with your dog.
6. Have a quite place your dog can go when things get a hectic, like a kennel or a bedroom. Sometimes we all need a break and so can your dog.
