Holiday Happenings at Nancy Wiley Studio / Gallery

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 22, 2009 -- Nancy Wiley Studio is gearing up for the holidays. The Studio will be transformed into a Gallery with special offerings for the holiday season. Downtown Canandaigua has planned a variety of events to get shoppers in the holiday mood and we will be participating.

For starters, on November 20 the Holiday Open House will kick off the holiday season. Come vote for your favorite Holiday Doors on Main Street and take a free chance to win a $1000 holiday shopping spree. There will be holdiay bucks being given away on the street by the Holiday Elf. Try the different drinks prepared by downtown merchants then take a ride on a traditional horse drawn carriage to take a tour of decorated downtown.

Nancy Wiley Studio along with 14 other art studios, galleries and specialty shops will host the annual Holiday Arts Walk. Nancy Wiley Gallery will display the scenes created for her illustrated Alice's Adventures in Wonderland book. Nancy created many character dolls which were placed into ysets depicting scenes from Lewis Carroll's classic book. Come and check out the sets a pick an autographed copy of Nancy Wiley's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland book. It will make a nice gift for yourself or a friend.

In addition she has created special ornaments for the holiday season. Some of these unique items are in the theme of Alice while others are classic Christmas and winter themed. These special items will only be available in the Studio/Gallery.
