(Free-Press-Release.com) November 20, 2009 -- Holiday Music Motel in Sturgeon Bay, WI begins it's House Concert Series with international superstar Jackson Browne on December 9, 2009. This 42 max capacity performance SOLD OUT in just 4 minutes. However, 6 tickets have been donated to Citizens for Our Bridge Inc. (CfOB), which is the organization behind the annual Steel Bridge Songfest, June 10-13, 2010, also in Sturgeon Bay. These donated tickets are being released to the public by way of auction on ebay.com in an effort to raise additional funding for the 2010 festival.

Four auctions are being conducted, beginning Friday, November 20, 2009, simultaneously for the following ticket allotments: Two pairs, and two single tickets. The auctions are starting at just $100 per ticket (face value, without lodging) and are scheduled to end on Friday, November 27, 2009. Jackson Browne is currently on his solo acoustic tour. In 2004 Browne was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is known for hits such as "Running on Empty," "Doctor My Eyes," "The Pretender," "That Girl Could Sing," "Lawyers in Love" and "Somebody’s Baby." Browne is a known name and friend to Door County for appearing as the Steel Bridge Songfest headline act for the first four years. Also he was involved by taking part in the festival’s "Construction Zone" songwriting workshops; in which his collaborative works were written, performed live, and studio recorded for release on the festival's "Steel Bridge Songs" CD series.

Citizens for Our Bridge Inc., a 501c3 non-profit, is a largely volunteer organization who's sights have been set on the preservation and rehabilitation of the Sturgeon Bay Michigan Street Bridge as a vital part of the city's visitor, resident, and emergency traffic routing, in addition to being a historic veterans memorial. The 2010 festival is expected to be a celebration of the current rehab being performed on the bridge, scheduled to re-open in the fall of 2010.
