NCFA uses this month to honor, thank, support, educate and empower family caregivers. According to NFCA there are more than 65 million family caregivers in the U.S. who provide care for the chronically ill, disabled, or aged family member or friend during any given year and they spend an average or 20 hours per week providing care for their loved ones.

Family caregivers are often overwhelmed and do not know that resources are available to not only help their loved one(s) but to also help them maintain their own physical, mental, emotional and financial health.
