Hollywood Bohemians Get An Earful!

Los Angeles, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) March 5, 2011 -- Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother), Jason Ritter (The Event), Zachary Levi (Chuck), & Ben McKenzie (Southland) will host the 1st annual "Bohemian Dream Party" to benefit the Los Angeles based charity Young Storytellers Foundation, which will take place on the evening of March 6th, 2011 at Bardot, which is part of the historic Avalon Theatre.

Hollywood Bohemians Get An Earful!

The mission of the the Young Storytellers Foundation is to develop self-expression, self-esteem, and literacy through the art of storytelling. Since 2003, YSF has successfully run an in-school arts eduction program in screenwriting. They target under-served, arts-poor public schools in the the greater Los Angeles area, and bring entertainment professionals into the classroom for one-on-one mentoring sessions with students, as part of the larger curriculum in storytelling.

Patterned after a belle-epoque era salon, the event will feature a wide array of artists that represent all the varies components that make up storytelling. Musical acts include Alexia Vassiliou (one of Greece's top recording artists), Vintage Trouble, the CTDB Quartet, and DJ Raviv Ullman. Illusionists Michael Friedland and Kevin Viner will work their magic. Lively cabaret dance numbers will be choreographed by Erica Holland. And the talented artists from the group Girls Drawing Girls will be drawing some lovely live models (Kristin Luman & Carly Gregory).

Actress Mae Whitman and actor/songwriter Landon Pigg will be making a special guest appearance to sing a few songs. Mae has starred in film and tv from an early age and is known for her roles on 'Parenthood' and "Arrested Development." Landon recently released his last album "The Boy Who Never" and is currently working on a new project due soon. He's also known for his role in the film 'Whip It." The two are also currently working on music projects together.

Alexia Vassiliou was born in Cyprus and studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. She has been a successful recording artist in Greece and the rest of the European continent for over 20 years; she has released more than 20 albums most of which became platinum/gold.

Magician and Mentalist Kevin Viner will be hosting the events 'Magical Fashion Dazzlement Spectacular' which will incorporate spectacular illusions with 9 of Hollywoods brightest actresses (including Charlene Amoia, Nikki Soohoo, Cooper Harris, Agnes Olech, Robin Phelps, Anya Benton, and Kristin Mulligan).

The entire space of Bardot will be themed with 100's of flickering candles (design by Jorgensen Creative), complimentary wine and absinthe, delectable hors d'oeuvres (provided by The Event Department), live paintings (provided by Girls Drawing Girls), gourmet truffle tasting (courtesy of Chef Stef), green fairies, seance room featuring palm readings (Dr. Sarah Larson), professional sleight of hand artist Michael Friedland, and a silent auction to benefit the charity.

The silent auction will feature such packages as the Girls Dream Weekend (featuring an exclusive 5 night stay at the Cabo Casa Rosada Resort in Mexico), Mind & Body Package, Pet Package, Guys Golf Package (1 night for 4 at Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Palm Springs), Couples Escape Package (featuring an exclusive 3 night stay at the Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa), and all the head to toe fashion show outfits provided by RedLight PR.

Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa is donating a stay to the YSF mentor of the year, and CKMG is donating a complete redesign of the YSF charity website. CKMG is a Los Angeles based Boutique Web Agency.
