HollywoodPoker Announces Grand Series of Poker Live 2 Salzburg Results

After four days of live poker action, it was Germany's Thomas Butzhammer who bagged the crown, along with a huge €62,760 cash prize and a seat for the Grand Final event in Dominican Republic.

The young pro conquered the field of 252 poker players, eventually busting Austria's Markus Jenisch out the table in their heads-up battle. On the final hand of the poker tournament, Butzhammer opened to 90,000 before Jenisch three-bet to 230,000. The action rose as the German made it 400,000 and then called after his opponent went all-in for 1.3 million.

The dealer turned over a flop of 5♥7♣6♣, leaving the German pro with a strong pair; and as the turn of 3♥ and river of A♠ were set, a new event champion has emerged. Thomas Butzhammer earned a hefty €62,760 cash prize, while Markus Jenisch took the runner-up spot with a €40,580 consolation prize.
