Denver, Colorado, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) April 8, 2011 -- A recently published report by Home Builders Research Colorado reveiled that Richmond Homes of Colorado captured the top spot in the Denver Metro 7-County area builder rankings. Accomplishing this with just 90 closings recorded in the first 2 months of 2011, Richmond still accounted for over one-fifth of all the new home closings recorded in the Denver metro area housing market area.

According to David Laffoon, President of Home Builders Research Colorado "Richmond outpact the #2 builder in the rankings by a 3-to-1 margin, capturing 20.8% of the entire Denver metro 7-county area housing market. This was based on new home closings recorded in the first 2 months of 2011."

The top 5 builders in the rankings combined to capture 43.9% of the entire Denver area housing market, Laffoon added.

Laffoon released the rankings in the firm's most recent issue of the Colorado Front Range housing market letter. "We update and published our comprehensive New Housing Reports every month, covering the Denver Metro Area, Northern Colorado, El Paso and Pueblo Counties located along the Colorado Front Range."
