Deciding that pooling the talents of two separate organizations to come up with a solution to help homeowners address property emergencies when they are not home was the key to this innovation.
A chance meeting at a local restaurant brought Larry Korff and Arie Upfalow, the founders of JM Resources and Joe and Nick Santoro, the founders of Personal Property Managers together. They met and started talking about each others businesses and discovered both shared a passion for helping their clients by providing specialized home owner programs. Soon, one thing led to another and after several months of brainstorming they came up with a total homeowner solution to address unexpected homeowner emergencies.

Larry Kroff and Arie Upfalow, of JM Resources provide state-of-the-art home security, alarm and monitoring services. They shared with the Santoro’s that their company could detect and alert homeowners when things like a forced entry, smoke, heat or water was a problem at their home but they had no way of helping home owners minimize the damage once it occurred, especially when the homeowner was out of town. That’s where the central Bucks County business Personal Property Managers, with Joe and Nick Santoro came up with an innovative solution.

Personal Property Managers and JM Resources teamed up to develop the missing link. Personal Property Managers decided to work with homeowners in advance of any home emergencies. Now, when an alarm goes off, and the homeowners are out of town or unavailable, Personal Property Managers is notified and responds by going directly to the client’s home. Personal Property Managers inspects the outside and inside of the homeowner’s property when they are away. If anything is observed that is out of the ordinary, such as a forced entry, broken door or window, or damage such as a broken pipe or water flooding the basement or worse, they swing into action by minimizing the damages; fixing the problem and helping homeowners avoid the hassle of returning to a real disaster.
