(Free-Press-Release.com) November 30, 2011 --
Home-Tech, Southwest Florida’s leading air conditioning and major appliance sales and service provider, is celebrating 30 years of service to the residents of Southwest Florida with a “Santa Suds Giveaway.” The company will donate brand-new Whirlpool Cabrio Top-Load Washer and High-Efficiency Dryer sets to three deserving local families, a $1,700 value per set.
Home-Tech is accepting nominations now through December 12, 2011, for residents who need a new washer and dryer but are unable to purchase the appliances. The company is encouraging people to nominate candidates online at http://www.home-tech.com/index.php/santasuds/. Maybe it’s a family member who has lost a job, a neighbor who takes care of foster children, a friend who has had a string of bad luck or a kind-hearted single mother next door who spends her weekends at the Laundromat. A panel of judges will choose the winners, and the person who nominated them will be contacted December 15th to arrange a surprise delivery.
“We think it feels much better to give than to receive, especially at this time of year,” said Steve Marino, Home-Tech founder and president. “To celebrate our 30th anniversary, our employee-owners opted to give back to the community and help lighten someone’s load, figuratively and literally.”
No purchase is necessary to nominate or to win, though only one nomination is allowed per household. The winners must be 18 years or older and reside in either Sarasota or Manatee counties. Nominations, including a brief 100-word-or-less summary on why the nominee is deserving, must be entered online at the Home-Tech Santa Suds page: http://www.home-tech.com/index.php/santasuds/ by 11:59 p.m. E.T. on December 12, 2011. Official giveaway rules are also posted on the website.
