Homeschool Entrepreneurs Get Support from Experts
Homeschool families looking for support as entrepreneurs needn't look any further than an online conference called the Homeschool Biz Expo, beginning February 22nd.

Homeschool families that have been looking for ways to earn a little extra income now have a resource to turn to.
Many homeschool families are masters of frugality, but with the economy forcing them to get creative to find money where it didn't previously exist, they are turning to home businesses for some extra cash to cover expenses.
"Families that educate at home are in an interesting situation. They tend to have a more unconventional mindset when it comes to schooling and it spills over into their income," says Susan Whitehead, producer of the Homeschool Biz Expo, an online conference for homeschool families who want to work from home.
"Home businesses seem to be a natural outflow of home education."
Homeschooled teens often take an interest they have, such as animals, and find creative ways to start a business like pet sitting or dog walking services. But it doesn't have to stop there. One of the experts featured in the Homeschool Biz Expo is a homeschool mom who helps kids become CEO's of their own companies.
While homeschool kids benefit from learning solid business principles at a young age, their parents often can't find the support they need for starting a business. Most homeschool parents are fearful of the risks involved with leaving their current jobs, but have a strong desire to have a greater impact on the lives of their children.
"With the amazing growth of opportunities to have legitimate businesses online, there's so many ways homeschool families can start a business with very little capital and the returns on investment can be huge," Whitehead says.
The purpose of the Homeschool Biz Expo is to show homeschool families that there are many options when considering a home based business and not everyone needs to be a website expert. Some of the experts featured in this online conference include a mom of 11 that makes a full time income selling used books online. Another expert left his contracting business to become a minister and now has a six figure income from his internet endeavors.
The Homeschool Biz Expo is 100% free to listen to the interviews online and begins on February 22nd and will run until March 4th. For more information on the Homeschool Biz Expo, go to www.HomeschoolBizExpo.com
