Jerry is a veteran fashion insider who has run his own labels called Sugartooth, Dang and Cash Skateboards. He has designed for Limited Too, Wet Seal and is currently back at Long Beach State University studying fashion Merchandising. Mckinish says he has always wanted to get back into his own label since his company ran into financial issues over 15 years ago. He nearly started a label called boy killer a couple years ago, but decided to focus his energy on finishing his bachelor degree. Now that graduation is only a year away, he decided it's time to go for it again. "The business has changed enormously since I first started over 15 years ago, but the market seems ripe for fresh blood." says Mckinish. The industry goes in waves, when it's a creative cycle there is plenty of creativity and inspiration, when it's a big business cycle, creativity seems to get completely shut down.It seems there is some new talent in the market and the younger generation is ready to embrace a new brand.

Jerry Calls it Terrorist because he is inspired by monsters, zombies, horror, macabre, day of the dead and punk rock. " I Noticed many younger girls getting tattoos of zombies, skull faced beauties and Frankensteins. I started to look back at early 20 th century comic books and found enough inspiration to last awhile. " The market that I am targeting is the 20 something rockabilly, psychobilly, punks. They are a flourishing group of expressive individuals who listen to bands like Stellar Corpses, love zombies and love tattoos. Mckinish has already filled out his trademark application for the name and plans to debut the line on Halloween of 2011. Terrorist clothing will include items for both sexes.
