the Navy has acquired two Early Operational Capability (EOC) systems, which include a new airframe and Hood Tech’s AltiCam 08 X 300 turrets. That turret has proven itself in field operations on Navy ships and in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya with the Marine Corps, the Armed Force that will also use the new UAVs for testing and training at Twentynine Palms, California. (Marines with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadrons 2 and 3 seem quite taken with their new system, according to their Facebook posting
