HopMonk Tavern Announces Live Music In Sonoma

Sonoma, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 27, 2012 -- Sonoma, CA (January 26, 2012) – HopMonk Tavern (www.hopmonk.com) in Sonoma is pleased to announce the upcoming acts for the indoor stage and additional upcoming events. All shows are cover free and good for all ages.
Friday, January 27 – Doug Blumer and The Bohemian Highway is a Sonoma County Americana band led by singer, songwriter, guitarist Doug Blumer. The band plays a mix of original material and traditional country songs that have inspired Doug to write his country and pop love songs. Show starts at 9:00 PM and goes until 11:00 inside the tavern.

Saturday, January 28 – Crosby Tyler sounds like one of the Lubbock music mafia, but unlike Butch Hancock and co, he's based in the far slicker environs of L.A. That doesn't stop Lectric Prayer, his newest album, from being a down-home collection of back-porch bluegrass and blues-infused observations on the present day rock n' roll. Show starts at 9:00 PM and goes until 11:00 inside the tavern.
Sunday, February 5 – Super Bowl 46 will be celebrated at HopMonk Tavern with a high-definition big screen and Hoppy Hour drink specials. Enjoy the house beers for $3 and well drinks for $4. Also offered during Hoppy Hour: Well Gin or Vodka Martini $5, Well Cosmo $5, Well Margarita $5, St. Francis Chardonnay $5, Buena Vista Pinot Noir $5 and Kenwood Yulupa Sparkling $4. The full menu is served, but during Hoppy Hour, one beef of pork slider is $3 and two fish tacos are $3. There will also be additional food specials offered during the big game.

Sunday, February 21 – Join RateBeer and HopMonk Tavern as we announce the 2012 RateBeer's Best. As part of our celebration we will be hosting a dinner during San Francisco Beer Week featuring beer from some of the top rated breweries from around the globe. Be among the first to hear who will be named the Best Brewer in the World, what beer will be named the Best Beer in the World as well as many other prestigious awards all picked by you, the RateBeer user and determined by your scores. Dinner is $100 and will feature a multiple course meal prepared by Hopmonk's Executive Chef Billy Reid. Dinner starts at 6:00 PM. Tickets are extremely limited so get them now.
