Horizon Forest Products Expands Raleigh Branch with New Hire

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 8, 2009 -- RALEIGH, NC – December 9, 2009 – Horizon Forest Products has announced the recent addition of Haley May as Purchasing/Inside Sales Representative to the company’s Raleigh Cabinetry Branch. In her role, May will be responsible for special order and stock purchasing, managing inventory levels, and providing phone and counter sales service.

Prior to joining Horizon Forest Products, May worked at MercuryGate International where she was the Implementation Consultant & Client Support Manager for the transportation software the company developed. May graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management. She says that she has great respect for Horizon Forest Products and loves the people that she gets to work with on a daily basis.

“I’m very excited at the opportunity to learn more about our cabinetry products and working with the company to improve our inventory levels and pricing,” says May. She adds that she’s also looking forward to building on her current sales knowledge and experience.

Angela Simmons, Raleigh Cabinetry Division Manager, says that May’s experience in purchasing will greatly benefit the cabinetry team. “Haley’s experience in purchasing and desire to learn new things were a definite plus when it came to filling this position,” explains Simmons. “Her personality and professional drive are a great asset to our company and we look forward to having her help us grow our cabinetry division and strengthen our current sales force.”
