Hot Spot Launch in Downtown Fredericktown

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 11, 2011 -- Big River Broadband will be hosting their LIVE HotSpot Site Launch in Fredericktown from 11am to 1:00pm on November 18th at the Madison County Chamber. Seven other local cities will also be playing host to a launch, which will provide internet service to parts of downtown areas.

The live launch will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, live entertainment, give-a-ways and much more. Big River Broadband’s HotSpot internet service will allow people to access the internet on their laptop, smartphone, tablet or portable internet device – all free of charge. At any time, people in these locations will be able to surf the web, check email, play online games, update their favorite social media site or instant message their friends. The service will benefit the local businesses as well by allowing them to advertise the availability of internet access for their customers and, therefore, create new economic hubs. The free internet access is the first stage in a larger broadband deployment to connect the region via an advanced communications network.
