Buying a home in another city can seem daunting, but today’s technological wonders make this a substantially less risky and worrisome proposal. However, given the heavy discounts still available in Las Vegas real estate, one can mount a strategic plan to get this done and achieve ownership of a terrific vacation or investment property.

Where to begin?

I Talk to me. Obviously, retaining on-the-ground expertise is critically important. The right REALTOR ® who knows the market intimately can save you a fortune and time. I KNOW the Las Vegas real estate market and am an expert, published negotiator.

II Educate yourself about the community and what is important to you. Do you like an urban or suburban environment? Are school districts important? Do you have concerns about traffic or commuting? Do you want quick access to the outdoors?

If you are investing, what are the economic goals you have? I have excellent property management resources, too.

I supply my clients with the necessary market research, but the primary decision I need them to make is the general areas of the city they may prefer to live invest in.

III Narrow it down. I have assisted numerous clients to close on Las Vegas homes from a long distance. Although I don’t recommend it, some have even closed sight-unseen by having me do high-definition videos for them.

IV Strike with an offer when it feels right. The offers I submit for my clients are always contingent on them performing due diligence – a home inspection, title report review, etc. So, you can offer from out of town and then fly in when you’ve got the property under contract.
