6) Hold it in your hand and act like you are a very seasoned pro in mango picking techniques.

Okay, point # 6 was a little over the top. But choosing a mango can be a nerve-wrecking session, much like fussing over a wine brand. It is far better an idea of you could allow this mind jamming to be done by an expert-by someone who has done cultivating, picking and selling mangoes as a lifetime hobby. Similar to a wine's taste, a mango taste is dependent on the soil where it was grown, the years taken for it's toil, the fertilizers used, the proximity to the sea( sea-wind intensifies the aroma inside the mango), the amount of direct sunlight for the fruit growth(more the better), etc.
