How to find and buy quality New Mexico Grass-fed Beef

When a Farmer is ready to sell their beef they will load them up and take them to auction where they hope to get the "market price" for them. More often than not the bids are lower than the market value, and the farmer loses out. And without going into too much detail, I will just say that from the auction the cows are carted off to the feedlots. There are so many reasons why that is a bad idea, from the dramatic drop in nutrition value and the gross animal abuse that happens, to the fact that we are taking money from our farmers, our community and our neighbors.

When you call me, we will talk about your needs. I can either get you a whole beef, or I can help find someone for you to split it with.
How it works: You purchase 'live on the hoof'. I pick the cow up from the farm, take it to the butcher, then I call you with a price. After the cow has been processed, I will pick it up and deliver it to you in the Albuquerque or Santa Fe area.

Call me for pricing, as that changes. I will say that this should be the best price in town, and according to my other customers we have farmers market prices beat.
