FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Cottage Grove, Oregon, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 22, 2012 --

When we first started our Internet business, we were unknown and it took aggressive marketing and a little luck to get the first few sales. However, after those first sales, then things started to pick up. But we've learned that it still takes marketing strategy to make more sales happen. Once a sale or two occur, then it's time to push even harder. To become known across the Internet takes lots of hard continuous work. The Internet is a fantastic arena for selling products, but there are several things that a business owner should do to make their presence known. Search engines are key and it's imperative that you understand Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

For SEO, each of your website pages should encompass relevant "key" words. If you are uncertain about which key words to include, then you can check out high ranking competors websites and view what key words they use. Also, it's important to establish a presence on as many relevant social networking sites as possible. You need to get your name out there. You can do things like creating your own business page on Facebook, "liking" relevant Facebook pages, writing Press Releases (both free and paid), and getting your business written up in the local newspaper. (Note: Our local newspaper was eager to write an article about our new company! Best of all, the article was free!) In addition, you need to put up flyers around where you live so that you establish a "local" presence. If people don't know you exist, then they will NOT visit your website and therefore won't buy from you, no matter how good or cheap your products are.

It should be pointed out, that you shouldn't just write one Press Release and then sit back and hope for results. Each and everything that is newsworthy about your company should be written up and distributed through PR's. Press Releases are very important, but to be effective they must be well-written and pertinent. A sloppily written PR can actually do more harm than good. So, when you write your PR, make sure that the wording flows well and that there are no misspelled words.

Our company www.bestassistedlivingaids.com is fairly new, but its presence is becoming well-known across the Internet. And, because that presence is now there, sales have slowly picked up. The more marketing and things we have done, the more sales have increased.

Check out our webstore and see for yourself what a business can do with lots of hard work. When we opened our store just a little over four months ago, we only had three or four pages and two items in our store and now we have over one hundred products. Also, when we first opened our store, we were virtually unknown. Now, when you do an Internet search using using one of the leading search engines, you'll get several pages showing our name or info about us.

Are we there yet? No, we're not even close to being as well-known as we'd like to be. There is still continuing work that needs to be done. It takes considerable thought and effort to create new ways to establish a worldwide Internet presence and we're continuing to explore new ideas. As long as our business is active on the Internet, we will do all the things that we need to do to make our business a household name. Even the name of our company, www.bestassistedlivingaids.com went against the established practices of keeping the name as short as possible. We chose our long name on purpose so that we could demonstrate that we are different from our competitors and to make sure that buyers remembered us as being the "BEST" place to buy from.

We'd like to thank all the people that have helped our company become known and for the sales they've helped bring to us. All the hard work we've put in to establish our Internet presence is well worth it when we see the sales that have been generated because of it. If you are thinking of starting an Internet business or even if you already have one, hopefully some of our ideas will help you.

Please visiit our store and send us an email at info@bestassistedlivingaids.com. We'd love to hear from you and receive your feedback.
