It sometimes feels difficult to find somebody who’s right for you, and who believes you’re right for him or her! You need to strive for a healthy relationship.
Relationships bring happiness and health to our lives. It should make us feel good.
Be realistic with our expectations. Our partner can not be what we always want him/her to be. Just show
appreciation with the things they do, even the simpliest one.
It is accepting people as they are and not trying to change them way we want them to be.
We should learn to listen to our partner and take the time to listen. Keep the communications open. Healthy
relationship is a give and take process of understanding. We should learn to adjust on the relationship. Being with
someone means change and growth are allowed.
While trying to please him, you should also be happy with what you do. It should be mutual. Be sensitive witht the feelings of your partner. Respect the differences between yourself and your partner. Don’t expect he or she agrees with you on everything.
You can disagree about something with your partner, but that does not mean she loves you less. Making up after
every disagreement spice up the relationship. Don’t criticize. Attack the problem, not the other person.
Responsible means that you have the ability to respond. Respond to the real problem, to your true needs. It does not mean you are to blame.
Admitting mistakes does not lessen who you are in the relationship. Healthy relationships can admit mistakes.
Healthy relationships don’t hold on to past hurts and misunderstandings, it never keep records of wrong.
Always be honest with your feelings, say when you feel it and how you feel. Healthy relationships show emotional
warmth!
Healthy relationship is a process, accepting, adjustment but being happy with the person you are with, being happy
with yourself and being happy with the surrounding you are in as well.
Always find time for your partner and make sure to spend quality time together. Find excitement in things you do together.
Other people help make our lives satisfying but they can’t create that satisfaction for us. Keep your life
balanced.
