Africa being a vast continent of 53 countries with over 1 billion people with different cultures it is very clear that it is not a homogenous continent with homogenous problems. Therefore it is impossible to have a one size fits all solution until each individual country is diagnosed on its own and the existing differences are identified.
Sadly, for decades, Africa has been presented in one way only; as a war torn continent filled with disease and dangerous wild animals. That is until now.
Now it is possible to explore, compare and contrast different Africa countries, their histories, economic data and geography in one place, The AfriGuide.
The AfriGuide is a recently launched e-Guide of startup Crane Consulting House whose aim is to educate investors and donors about Africa in a format that is easy to use for making comparisons. The inexpensive guide comes solely as an electronic guide so as to save both time and the environment as people help Africa. With only two versions; a free version and a low-cost version at only $18.95 in order to reach as many interested people as possible, there are plans to have advanced versions in coming months targeted for various industries.
The major idea is to help the sources of the investment or donor funds become more familiar with Africa and hence make better decisions, especially now when its 53 countries are growing at a combined average of 5% annually.
With billions being spent in aid and invested in foreign investment into Africa it is important that this money has an impact and one key way this impact can be achieved is by knowing the individual countries in greater depth and hence giving the best possible solutions.
The e-guide, which can be accessed on www.craneconsultinghouse.com, is certainly not a panacea for all of Africa’s problems but it will in time prove to be one way those interested in Africa can understand its problems and help find better solutions.
Perhaps with refreshing new sources on Africa like this we will see Africa solve her problems much faster than expected.
