When this company first started their Webstore, they had very little Internet presence or as far as that goes, know-how! They tried hard, but they didn't really have the right knowledge to accomplish what they wanted to do and that was to draw traffic to the store. Then, after strugling for a little over a year, they came up with an idea that literally knocked the competition for a loop. And, they hit them with the whole nine yards! That's when traffic increased dramatically! What secrets did they uncover?

The secrets were right before their eyes from the very beginning, but they just couldn't see them. One of the most spectacular things they uncovered was the fact that their Webstore front page was not attractive enough. It was good and people even told them how great it was, but it didn't have the look of a store that would have genuine wide-audience appeal from the moment people stepped in the door. What did they do to make the front page more appealing? First of all, they expanded the first pictures that people would see and they added a second picture so that people would be able to immediately see what the store was about. The second thing they did was to put text on the front page that was clickable and would lead people into the interior pages, where they really wanted them to go. And, the third thing they did was to say that the info on the inside was free.

So in essence, when anyone came onto their Website, the first thing they would see was a picture and text that would capture their interest and, in turn, would lead them into the information on the inside pages. Since they redesigned the front page and reworked the html "title" and "Key" words to be more in-line with the contents of the page, traffic has tripled.
