How to Install an SSL Certificate in cPanel

The cPanel tool is a control panel program that is designed for web hosting servers. Through the cPanel interface, you can modify many settings for your server and website. If you have downloaded an SSL certificate that you want to use with your server, you can install it in the cPanel interface. SSL stands for secure socket layer and is a way to encrypt all data transmissions on a server.
Instructions

1. Open a web browser and enter "https://IP:2083," replacing "IP" with the IP address of your web server.
2. Enter your cPanel username and password and then click "Login."
3. Navigate to the SSL/TLS ManagerCertificates (CRT) directory in the cPanel interface and then click on "Generate, view, upload or delete SSL certificates."
4. Press the "Browse" button next to "Upload a New Certificate." Then highlight your SSL certificate file and press "Upload."
5. Press "Go Back" to return to the main SSL/TLS Manager window and then click on "Setup a SSL certificate to work with your site."

6. Choose your web server's name from the "Domain" drop-down menu.
7. Click the "Install Certificate" button to finish configuring the SSL certificate with cPanel.
