How To Make A List--Getting Noticed

Getting noticed is one of the hardest things to do when you first enter the Internet marketing arena if you don't use some type of strong SEO or traffic method. When you first start out you may put up a site and think that people will automatically visit the site because it's up. First, the search engines have to know it exist, then people who type in a keyword have to find your site. When I first started out I had no idea how the game worked so what I did was try to learn as much as possible. I started out with paid traffic methods like pay-per-click and got good traction to my site. I also accumulated a lot of members and people to join my list. Only problem was it can get expensive and you may attract only non-buyers. Don't let this get you down though--whatever traffic method you use, you want to make sure you get people to notice the fact that you are building a list. If you use free traffic methods, you gotta be ready to put in the work. It's way easier to pay for traffic than use free methods that sends a swarm of people joining your list. It takes an eye-catching title for people to click on your site when they see it on the search engines. It takes informative videos that aren't too salesy, but highly convincing. It takes the trust of the people who visit your site, consistently, to enter their email address so you can market to them via email. Getting notice takes work because there will be times when you're gonna be tweaking the look of your page like add a video, write different things to grab the reader's attention and convince them, etc.

Don't worry if your first try wasn't successful and you didn't make any money. It's okay because the more you learn, the more success you're gonna have. Internet marketing, just like offline marketing, is a skill that needs to be sharpened. You need to know what kind of information your list is looking for in your niche. You need to also create some interesting titles for your email titles. If your title says, "new product" it may not get that many opens like a title like, "Powerful New Product--How To Make $1000 in seven days". Even if people think that it's too good to be true they're gonna open the email and click the link in the email to see what the product is all about. Be careful that when you do send emails out you are not trying to sell them a product every single day. It may look spammy and they may unsubscribe from your email list. If you give them a free video or tips every once in a while and send a product probably once or twice a week, you have people looking forward to what you have to offer, especially if the free tips are very helpful.
