Rochester, NH – www.yourhealthyhomebiz.com is planning a unique event for home business owners on Tuesday February 28th. The free teleseminar, "How To Protect Your Most Valuable Business Asset" will focus on providing home business owners strategies for staying healthy while running their home business.
"Running a home business isn't easy," notes YHHB founder Sarah Clachar. "We may have the home field advantage of being there for our kids. We can work in sweatpants and set our own schedule. But we also face particular challenges unique to managing a business from home."
And one of these challenges is maintaining good health. Most home business owners have a difficult time setting boundaries with their work commitments and making the time to take care of themselves. Added to this the common burden of being a one-person operation with little support, it can be hard to make health a priority.
"An estimated 1 in 6 small businesses declare bankruptcy due to personal reasons, namely illness or divorce," notes YHHB founder, Sarah Clachar. "If you use 2009's statistics about small business bankruptcy, this means an estimated 8 businesses declared bankruptcy today alone due to illness or divorce. These are statistics that shouldn't be ignored by the business community."
Clachar notes that even as a professional health writer and self-avowed health nut she also has had a hard time taking care of her health. So she worked pointedly to correct this by implementing strategies that would make it easier to work on her health while working.
On Tuesday, February 28th, Clachar will be sharing some of her strategies and "shaking up beliefs about work and health" in a free teleseminar for home business owners, solopreneurs and freelancers. The teleseminar, "How To Protect Your Most Valuable Business Asset" will cover:
• Examples from the business community that demonstrate why personal health is such an important investment and is so critical for business success.
• What is the primary obstacle that gets in the way of implementing healthy habits.
• 2 easy healthy moves that can be immediately implemented, even while listening to the teleseminar.
• What people can learn from the Japanese, an arctic swimmer and hypnotism about making big changes.
This will be a unique and long overdue event. Says Copywriter Roundtable founder, John Forde, "This might be the first time I've seen something like this, designed specifically for entrepreneurs like us."
And business coach, Chris Marlow, draws from her experience coaching and her own personal battles to emphasize the importance of this event. "As a business coach, I've helped dozens of freelance copywriters rocket their business to another level. The ones who invest in their health have a distinct edge. It gives them energy and confidence to push through the hard work of building a business," notes Marlow.
"On a personal note," reflects Marlow. "I've had to take time off from my own business to take on a major health issue. I know from my hard-fought battle how crucial it is to minimize your risk for major health problems and to nourish your capacity to fight them off if they hit."
