The advertisements bombard us day and night like never before. We are losing connection with the human side of selling. We need to restart thinking of the customer like if he was ourselves. There are many ways to create a fruitful relationship, sometimes it depends on every single case; people are different and you can establish that through the way your client surf the net.

In Relationship Marketing, for example, making sure that your intentions are understandable and apparent to your readers will lead you to a successful and healthy customer relationship with them. Setting the minds of your newsletter subscribers at ease could bring wonders to your marketing goals. Presenting to them the proper perceptions that you want them to have will avoid having your customers forming their own assessments that might be different from what you want them to think.

That is why it is crucial that your initial communication with your readers have the correct mood and tone that you want to achieve for your entire strategic plan. Not doing this might give you a harder time warming them up for your sales pitch. Presenting them with information that are tailored to their needs during your first few emails or talks with them will get them into wondering if you want to sell them something. This is much better because this move can urge them into a more receptive attitude towards you.

I always present the example of a sale person knocking at your door; you open the door and he presents you with a product straight away; perhaps some will buy it, but I personally believe it’s not the right way to do it. What about if he knocks the door three times a day every day? That’s not good either. Nonetheless there are internet marketers who send emails 3 times a day! It’s far better getting to know your potential customer a little before selling him/her something.

Your customers’ perception of you will be based on the image that you will present to them. This is the reason why you should think of things that your competitors will not normally do because they are thinking of their own needs and wants before their customers. People can easily pick up another person’s intentions, so you should make sure yours is interpreted correctly; because if they do not, they will just conjecture at what your real intentions are, and most likely they will have negative assumptions.

Another secret that can lead you to success in Relationship Marketing is to make your clients and subscribers feel that you care and are willing to listen to them. Not only make sure that they feel that you care, you must really care otherwise you should be working in another vocation
