How to use the Multimedia function on WOOD R4i gold

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 31, 2011 -- Recently, many r4i gold users want to know how to use the multimedia functions(such as Movie , Video or Music) on their wood r4i gold card.
Now , We'd like to show you how to make it available.

Step 1: Download the newest WOOD R4 firmware(WOOD R4 V1.36) and R4i gold kernel (V1.51B) from http://www.r4ids.cn/r4i-download-e.html

You will see and get the two .rar files (WOOD_R4iGold_V1.33.rarand V1.51B ENG.rar). Of course, you can download other language kernel for your R4i gold card.We got the English version package (V1.51B ENG.rar) as an example .

Step 2: Delete all the files of your Micro SD memory card or format it in FAT32. Please backup your DS games before you operate .

Step 3: Decompress the download files (WOOD_R4iGold_V1.33.rar, and V1.51B ENG.rar) to your PC, and you will get two directories , open them separately.


Step 4: Copy all the files of V1.51B ENG kerenl to your Micro SD memory card . Then you need copy the “__rpg + WOODR4.NDS” of the Wood_R4iGold_V1.33 to overwrite the exist those in Micro SD memory card . It's very important for you to copy the right files to your MicroSD memory card. Otherwise, you can not make them work.

Step 5: Copy some movie(Video or Audio etc.) to your Micro SD memory card. Please note , the movie only and must be .dgp file. After anything has been done, then insert your Micro SD memory card to the slot of your R4i gold card . Now,you can open your consoles and watch the movie freely . Have good fun!
