The HiPerDisk storage systems will support both enterprise SAS and SATA drives, enabling tiered storage in a box, while delivering flexibility, advanced data protection features, redundant components and high-speed bandwidth to help ensure maximum data storage reliability.

The HiPerDisk features 42 hot-swap drives which will support high capacity SAS or SATA drives or a combination of SAS & SATA drives simultaneously. This flexibility enables enterprise customers to standardize on one system for all three application data types: transactional, high-bandwidth and reference data. Designed with no single point of failure, the HiPerDisk storage line features single or dual controller module each consisting of three mini SAS (4x) port. A hotswap redundant power supply and fans are provided for optimal enterprise reliability.
